Dear Railroader Families,
I hope you are enjoying the start of summer. As I begin my transition into the Whitehall community, I wanted to take a moment to introduce myself and share a few updates.
From my very first visits to campus, it has been clear that Whitehall is a special place. I have been welcomed by caring, dedicated, and hardworking people who share a common commitment to providing the very best opportunities for our students. I am grateful for the warm welcome and excited to become a part of the Railroader community.
Although summer has just begun, preparations for the 2026–2027 school year are already well underway. I appreciate the leadership of Mr. John Godfrey, who is serving as Interim Elementary Principal, and Mr. Doug Duell, who is serving as Interim Middle/High School Principal. Both have already been hard at work this week helping ensure a successful start to the school year.
I'm also pleased to share that our Summer Swim Program begins on Monday, July 6, and our Regional Summer School Program begins on Tuesday, July 7.
Throughout the summer, we will use ParentSquare to keep you informed about important updates, upcoming events, and our preparations for the new school year. I encourage you to watch for these communications.
If you find yourself on campus this summer, please feel free to stop by the District Office and introduce yourself. I would truly enjoy the opportunity to meet our students, families, and community members and begin building the relationships that are so important to the success of our schools.
Thank you again for the warm welcome into the Whitehall community. I wish you and your family a safe, relaxing, and enjoyable Fourth of July weekend. I look forward to an exciting year ahead and all that we will accomplish together for our students.
