Whitehall Students Selected for Hyde Museum High School Juried Show
Three Whitehall High School seniors have been recognized for their artistic talent with selections in the Hyde Museum High School Juried Show at the The Hyde Collection.
The annual juried show provides area high school students with a valuable opportunity to experience the professional art world, from the submission process to exhibition in a museum setting. It is designed to deepen students’ understanding of artistic presentation while showcasing their work to a broader audience.
Among those selected, senior Lily Heckman has two pieces featured in the exhibit, Ellie’s Cottage and Fragments of Sight, both ceramic works. Senior Marley Hilder’s piece, Incoming Elation, is a colored pencil drawing, while senior Rain Petrie’s Aspirations of a Wasp Mantidfly combines colored pencil and graphite.
The exhibition is currently on display and will run through May 17. Community members are encouraged to visit and view the work of these talented student artists.
